Mobile use

InfraTec mobileIR M8 is dedicated for an inexpensive entrance in thermography for a wide field of industrial applications. Replaceable, quick rechargeable Lithium-Ion batteries and a very low power consumption ensure an outstanding operating time of four hours.

Easy handling

The thermographic images are displayed with high quality in a high-resolution turnable 2.5“ TFT touchscreen which simultaneously provides an overview of the current camera state. InfraTec mobileIR M8 detects smallest temperature differences of < 0.08 mK within a temperature measurement range of (-20 ... 250) °C (optionally 350 °C). A cursor automatically indicates the position of the hottest spot within the image. A hotspot can be additionally located at the object by a built-in laser pointer. InfraTec mobileIR M8 offers various measurement functions like simultaneous analysis of four spots and four areas, representation of line profiles and isotherms and an auto correction of ambient conditions.

Image Merging

The new mobileIR M8 allows a direct overlay of infrared and real image, so that problem areas can be located more quickly. This helps with later analysis and presents measuring scenarios more clearly.

Fields of application

InfraTec mobileIR M8 is a convenient tool for predictive maintenance of both electrical installations and mechanical assemblies as well as locating leaks from pipes and building thermography through the documentation of measuring situations including voice annotation and built-in digital colour video camera.

Data evaluation

Both thermographic and VIS images can be transferred with the voice annotations via USB 2.0 interface to a PC. InfraTec offers powerful tools of it‘s thermograpy software suite IRBIS ® 3 for the off-line data evaluation and report generation.
