Excellent thermal resolution of 30 mK for detecting smallest faults

The thermal resolution of the infrared camera series VarioCAM ® high resolution head 600 indicating the smallest temperature differences being resolvable is as small as 30 mK (0.030 °C) at some 30 °C. Smallest temperature spans will still show details in great sharpness. Customers will be able to detect faults where other infrared camera systems will not measure anything and faults can already be seen at an earlier stage.

Included software package IRBIS ® 3 for detailed analysis and rapid reporting

The efficiency of infrared cameras greatly depends upon the analysis software accompanying it. The thermographic software IRBIS ® 3, coming with the VarioCAM ® high resolution inspect 680, allows for a fast and still precise analysis of the thermograms taken. Thereby a basis is made for meaningful reports which can also be written using the tools included in IRBIS ® 3. Be it full WORD-based reporting or copy- and-paste to all WINDOWS programs, therewith, a solid basis for extensive development work is provided.

F 1.0 quality lenses for precise focussing of all thermal radiation

Low temperatures mean little signal for a infrared camera. Therefore, all the signal being available has to be made use of. The first part of the infrared camera which the infrared radiation is received with is the lens and not only that is why it plays a major role. High precision F 1.0 Germanium lenses with non-reflective coating for preventing disturbances will allow for the VarioCAM ® hr head 600 series most infrared radiation to come through to the detector being focussed in the most precise way.

High measurement accuracy of only +/- 1 %

The specially for VarioCAM ® hr developed calibration algorythm with more than just a few calibration curves assures highest measuring accuracy and repeatability results even at changing environmental temperatures as well as optimal inlet conditions of the camera.

Success Story

Thermography for Aerial surveys

Aerial surveys ask for small and lightweight but also of course for very precise thermographic camera solutions. Little distortion of the lenses and a high frame rate are other important features which InfraTec´s VarioCAM ® hr head models come with a big advantage. Therefore, those thermal cameras are implemented in the IGI DigiTHERM system which is to provide its customers with a very detailed image of the ground surface.
