With headquarters in one of the leading European R&D centres, Dresden/Germany, InfraTec GmbH Infrared Sensor and Measurement Technology is focussed on quality products and services based on its vast expertise in the infrared technology. Founded in 1991 InfraTec has its own development and production facilities and employs more than 130 professional staff in Dresden and its European subsidiaries.

The Sensor Division develops and manufactures customer-specific components in particular pyroelectric infrared detectors. These detectors are incorporated by leading global manufacturers of infrared pyrometers and devices for infrared gas analysis and infrared spectroscopy.

The Infrared Measurement Division caters for a wide variety of thermographic applications providing stand-alone cameras as well as turn-key automation solutions. After a long-term fruitful co-operation since 1997 InfraTec has been appointed the exclusive global (except for North America and Japan) sales partner for the German manufacturer of thermographic systems JENOPTIK Laser, Optic, Systems GmbH in 2004.
